London, UK: Atlanta Technology, the IT solutions specialist, has today announced that HCL plc, one of the UK's leading specialist health and social care staffing companies, has signed a contract with Atlanta who has been appointed as its hosted services partner of choice, following a competitive tender process.
Having worked closely with HCL last year to manage the implementation of a new Storage Area Network as part of the organisation’s virtualised infrastructure, HCL has now appointed Atlanta Technology to fully manage the hosting of its mainline business application from ITEC Systems. ITRIS is a specialist enterprise resource planning (ERP) application for the recruitment industry and it will be the primary software application that HCL uses to manage its day-to-day business operations.
Tim Warren, IT Director, HCL plc. said: "We have awarded the hosted services contract to Atlanta Technology, who will securely host our ITRIS business software within a dedicated private cloud cluster. Our decision to award the bid to Atlanta was based on a number of factors, including its commitment to security, and ability to demonstrate extremely high rates of uptime and availability. This is particularly important as ITRIS is business critical to us, and we need to access the suite at any time. Service is equally important, and having worked with Atlanta on other projects in the past we have been very happy with the service received.
Simon Kelson, Managing Director, Atlanta Technology said: "I am very pleased that we have been awarded the contract from HCL to manage the hosting of its principal business application within our private cloud. We are confident that we can deliver high network stability and availability for HCL and meet the service level agreement, to ensure its team can securely access the ITRIS system when needed and from any of their six office locations."
Tony Slyfield, Client Services Manager of ITEC Systems added: "We are delighted to be working with Atlanta Technology to ensure that we are able to provide HCL plc with a robust and scalable platform on which ITRIS can run."
